Edward Guidas, 53, of South Greensburg, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, in the St. Margarets Hospital. He was born Oct. 4, 1962, in Latrobe, a son of the late Edward and Dolores Duffy Guidas. Ed was the co-owner of Mr. Toad's in Greensburg and also worked for Rick Diebold and Associates. He was a veteran of the Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Guidas; and a brother-in-law, Richard Lazur. He is survived by his two children, Sabrina Simmers and Eoin Edward Guidas, both of Greensburg; four sisters, Noreen and husband, Charlie Datz, of Greensburg, Kathleen A. Lazur, of Latrobe, Carol Kozain and husband, Robert, and Ann Guidas, all of Greensburg; a brother, Kevin Guidas, of Elkins, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ed from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724-837-0020). Services and interment will be private.
