Edith S. Bianco

Edith S. (Eakin) Bianco, 87, of Greensburg, died Monday, January 13, 2025 at home. She was born November 25, 1937, in Export, a daughter of the late Lawrence W. and Elizabeth M. Altman Eakin. Edith was a devoted member for fifty-five years to the New Life Tabernacle Church, of which she was one of the founding members. She volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul and loved working in her flower garden and spending time with her family. Edith loved music and singing with her daughter and enjoyed making candy, baking and was a great cook. She was a loving wife, mother, mother in-law, grandma and aunt that will be greatly missed and was our best friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, Angelo M. Bianco in 2021 and two brothers, Lawrence and Gerald Eakin. She is survived by her two children, Michael Bianco (Mary) and Tammy Bianco, her devoted caretaker with whom she made her home, all of Greensburg; grandchildren, Michael Bianco and Malaina Jacoby (Michael 'MJ:); two great grandchildren, Ezamayla and Valalina Jacoby; siblings, Ronald Eakin (Kathy), and Kenny Eakin, all of Greensburg and Bertha Eakin of OH and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of Edith will be received Friday in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020 from 1:30, until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. RK Smith, officiating.
