Douglas Morrison, Iii

Douglas Lawrence Morrison, III , 25, of Unity Twp., died Monday, July 4, 2022 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  He was born July 4, 1997, in Greensburg. He loved to color and play video games with his pappy & cousins. Doug also enjoyed listening to music especially his favorite band, Rascal Flatts. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dwight Earl Deithorn; maternal great- grandparents, Edward and Cecelia Zahratka; great aunts, Kathy Ann Fennell, Cecelia Jane Reese, and Bernadette Mensch; and a great uncle, Marcus Deithorn. Douglas is survived by his grandmother, who also raised him, EddieJo Deithorn of Unity Twp.; aunt, Kathy Shapiola (Erick) of Yukon; cousins, CJ Sleasman, Dwight Sleasman, and Justyn Sleasman, all of Yukon; great grandmother, Connie Deithorn of Irwin; and brothers, Chandler Whitehead and Noah Whitehead, both of Latrobe. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. The family would like to say a special thank you to Doug’s favorite nurse, Maddie Swan and the Westmoreland Hospital Step Down Unit for the years of love and care they gave Doug.
