Dorothy Defloria

Dorothy J. (Specht) DeFloria , 87, of Greensburg, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, in St. Anne Home. She was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Ruffsdale, a daughter of the late Robert P. and Martha Myers Specht. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, where she was the former secretary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DeFloria Jr.; granddaughter, Rosalie DeFloria; two brothers, Paul and Robert Specht; two sisters, Barbara Trump and Sharon McBride; and her special dog, Dusty. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph DeFloria III (Tammy), Jerry DeFloria (Phylis) and Timothy DeFloria, all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Joseph IV, Morgan, Tim Jr. (Kellie) and Maria (Brandon Nease); a great-granddaughter, Vienna Rose Nease; two brothers, David Specht (Sandra), of Mt. Pleasant, and Wayne Specht (Avis), of Latrobe; sister-in-law, Cathy Specht, of Mt. Pleasant; brother-in-law, Bert DeFloria, of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dorothy from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Pantalone Funeral Home. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Dorothy's caregiver when she was still home, Dorothy Guidas, as well as the staff of St. Anne Home and Heartland Hospice for their kindness and loving care given to their mother.
