Dorothy Casto

Dorothy E. (Ohler) Casto , 86, of Greensburg died Sunday, May 14, 2017 in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born Dec. 25, 1930 in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Edward Ohler and Elizabeth Dare Ohler. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren, and loved watching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams on TV. Dorothy worked for the former Hill's Department Store. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Casto Sr,. in 2001; and six siblings, Virgil, Vernon and Don Ohler, Betty Murray and Thelma and Gladys Grimm. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Ralph Casto Jr. (Mary), of Johnstown and Scott Casto (Teri), of Greensburg, with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, Scott, Bobbi Jo, Jonathan and Morgan Casto; a great granddaughter, Anna Casto; Teri's children, Tiffiney Gettemy (Jeffrey), Robert Hayden (Jessica), Raquel Nelson and Carrie Ligus (Adam); Teri's grandchildren, Ciara Nelson, Peyton Reynolds, Robert Hayden IV and Isabella Hayden; numerous nieces and nephews; and her feline companion, Wrecker. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dorothy from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Pantalone Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Fike officiating.
