Dianna Bourke

Dianna L. Bourke , 60, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born April 4, 1958, in Herminie, a daughter of the late Thomas and Veronica Bohince Bourke. Dianna was a graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School and graduated from Penn State University. She was awarded her Ph.D. by University of Pittsburgh Medical School and did her postdoctoral work at University of California Davis. She was the associate professor of anatomy and physiology at CCAC North Side for the past 13 years. Dianna enjoyed quilting and sewing and was very active in making costumes for the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg's theatre productions, where her husband teaches theatre. She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Stephen A. Schrum, with whom she would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in January 2019; two brothers, Thomas Bourke (Joan) of Herminie, and Michael Bourke (Susan), of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
