David J. Soltis , 62, of Jeannette, died Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Allegheny General Hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1954, in Natrona Heights, a son of Leona Kardos Soltis, of East Vandergrift, and the late John Soltis. He retired as a district manager for Denny's Restaurants and was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and the Youngwood Sportsman Club. David enjoyed spending time with his family, was a loving husband and father and was looking forward to the birth of his first granddaughter. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Soltis; his daughter, Lauren Rumbaugh (Vance), of Belle Vernon; two sisters, Karen Matviko (Greg), of West Leechburg, and Barbara Antoniono (Dom), of Oklahoma Borough; two sisters-in-law, Melinda Miller (Richard) and Marcie Painter (Richard), all of Apollo; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of David at his funeral Mass, to be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday July 18, 2017, in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Youngwood Sportsman Club, 196 Sportsmen's Road, Youngwood, PA 15697. David's family has entrusted his care to the CLEMENT L.
