Darcyl Mino

Darcyl (Claiborne) Mino , 64, of Jeannette, died Wednesday, October 05, 2022.  She was born May 20, 1958, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John Bennett and Rozell Wills Claiborne.  Elder Darcyl was a member of the Living Word Congregational Church.  Prior to moving back to PA, she lived for eighteen years in Toledo, OH and was passionate about participating as Chaplin with the prison ministry.  She was also active at her Church, Upper Room Tabernacle Church of the Living God, OH.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Corwin Wilkerson; sister, Dawn R. Claiborne and 'sisters', Amy Ramsey and Flora White.  She is survived by her four children, Kamika Thomas of McKeesport and Devin Mino of Jeannette, Mary Hudspath of Latrobe and Robin Crawford of Toledo; two granddaughters, Darcyl Claiborne and Triniti Thomas; a great granddaughter, Rozal Smith-Crain; siblings, Bishop D. W. Claiborne (Karen Gandy) of Detroit, MI, Darla Claiborne, William Bronson and Cynthia (Pastor David) Williamson, all of Greensburg, 'sisters', Jacqueline Ramsey,  Beverly 'Susie' Lewis (Joe) both of Greensburg and  Becky Ridgley of Greensburg; special nieces, Kristin Dagner and Samantha Walotn-Johnson and several additional nieces, nephews and Godchildren.  Darcyl’s funeral Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m., in the Living Word Congregational Church, 2003 Ridge Rd, Jeannette, PA 15644, with Pastor Roy Aiken Jr., officiating.  Darcyl’s family has entrusted her care to the Clement L.
