Dale Richard Hayden, 73, of Greensburg, died Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. He was born May 24, 1949, in Greensburg, a son of the late Earl D. and Mildred M. Baxter Hayden. Dale proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. He was a truck driver most of his life. Dale enjoyed the beach, golfing, being an outdoorsman, an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, and a lover of Nascar. He attended races in Daytona regularly. He also cherished spending time with his family and friends throughout the years and making people laugh, he was always the life of the party. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Earl D. Hayden, Jr. Dale is survived by his five children, Rachel Weiser of Mars, Shane Hayden (Annie) of Gibsonia, Travis Hayden of Beaumont, TX, Alison Klosnick (Ryan) of Latrobe, and Richard Hayden (Becca) of Irwin; five grandchildren, Brandon, Lazlo, Avery, Miles, and Emmitt; a sister, Bernadette Haupt of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Dale, Saturday from 10 to 11:00 a.m., the time of services, in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Inurnment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg with military honors accorded by the VFW Post 33 Honor Guard.
