Constance "Connie" Rollins

Constance 'Connie' L. (Szaflarski) Rollins, 77, of Greensburg, died Monday, May 1, 2023 in the Newhaven Court after a ten-year battle with cancer.  She was born October 29, 1945, in Everson, a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Bernadine B. Osniak Szaflarski. Connie was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.  She attended grade school with Archabbot Nowicki. She was an active member and officer of the New Neighbors Club. She spent her career as an executive secretary at Westinghouse, and loved reading and spending time with her friends. Pittsburgh sports and fast cars were two of her favorite things, she even owned a little convertible sports car and borrowed her father’s car when it snowed. Joe and Connie loved their casino trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Connie always liked to look her best and was very kind. Her beautiful smile and her laugh would always light up a room. She never said anything negative, she always had a positive attitude. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph H. Rollins on December 22, 2021. She is survived by several cousins, in-laws, and numerous friends whom she loved like family. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Private inurnment will be in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. Connie's friends would like to thank the staff of Bridges Hospice for their exceptional care during her illness as well as Newhaven Court.
