Concetta Kashurba

Concetta C. "Tala" "Connie" (Conte) Kashurba, 88, of Greensburg, formerly of Penn Township, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 4, 1927, in Crabtree, a daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Moffe Conte. She was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church in Jeannette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Kashurba; a sister, Gelsamine "Minnie" Mariana; two brothers, Pasquale "Pat" and Jack Conte; and three half-brothers, Edward, Dominic and Roland Mascolo. Connie is survived by her three children, Kathleen Kashurba, Karen Kashurba and Richard Leonard, all of Greensburg, and Kenneth Kashurba and wife, Nancy, of West Newton; two step-grandchildren, Laurel and Drew; her companion, Richard Swartz, of Monroeville; a brother-in-law, Michael Kashurba of Penn Township; a special friend, Nathan Delligatti, of Greensburg; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Connie from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724-837-0020). Parting prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church with Father Paul Lisik celebrating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetary, Jeannette.
