Cheryl A. Droste

Cheryl A. (Smith) Droste, 77, of Monroeville, passed away suddenly Thursday, October 17, 2024, in UPMC East. She was born August 04, 1947, in Pittsburgh and grew up in Crafton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anne Greis Smith. After graduation from Langley High School, Cheryl was employed by Blue Cross, The University of Pittsburgh and PNC Bank. Cheryl was a lover of pets and volunteered her time at Humane Society of Westmoreland County. She also loved spending time at the Canadohta Lake cottages. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters David, Marian, Jack, and Joan. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Erwin (Erv) Droste; son Chris Droste (Beth); granddaughter Amelia; and sister Kathy (Charlie) Glynn. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Cheryl, Monday, in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
