Carolyn Detore

Carolyn Detore , 95, of Mesquite, Nev, formerly of Greensburg, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022. She was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Carlo Bucchi and Agnese Crocetti. Her father passed away before her birth so she was raised by her stepfather, Anthony Maselli. She married Julian Detore on July 6, 1946, in Greensburg. Carolyn spent much of her life here in Greensburg, then, moved to Mesquite, Nev., in 2006, to enjoy the warm, sunny weather. She loved line dancing, and was very talented in ceramics and needlework. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and three brothers, James, Anthony, and Julian. Carolyn is survived by her loving children, Julian Detore (Victoria), Joanne Ferace (James), and Janet Detore; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
