Carol Ann Kocian

Carol Ann Kocian, 73, of Crabtree, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the Westmoreland Hospital. She was born May 01, 1951, in Crabtree, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Ann B. Patrick Kocian. Carol was born and raised in her beloved family home in Crabtree, where she spent her entire life. A devoted lifelong member of St. Bartholomew Church, she actively volunteered and participated with her family in helping with the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Festival each year. After retiring as a supervisor in the office of Domestic Relations at the Westmoreland County Courthouse, she embraced her role as a loving and supportive caregiver to her mother and aunts. Carol's dedication to her church and her commitment to caring for others were truly remarkable, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her brother, Robert Kocian of Crabtree; aunt, Theresa Miscik (Michael) of Crabtree; and many cousins and special friends. Relatives and friends of Carol will be received Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Monday 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
