Beverly Gasperin

Beverly J. Gasperin , of Greensburg, died Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017. She was born in Binghamton, NY, a daughter of the late Henry C. and Josephine Matro Rise (Risi). She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and attended Steubenville High School where she proudly participated as a majorette along with her sister. Beverly enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid dancer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David F. Gasperin, in 1986; and her sister, June Rise (Risi), in 1945. She is survived by her loving daughter, June Ferry (Tony), of Greensburg, and children, Tyler and Gianna; her son, David Gasperin (Dorinda), of Latrobe, and children, Danette and Debbie; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Beverly from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601 (724-837-0020). Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
