Alma L. (Sebold) Constantine , 94, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021. She was born Dec. 31, 1926, in Derry, a daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Ethel Mae Sherlock Sebold. Alma was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church. She was a longtime volunteer, starting in 1974, at Westmoreland Manor and also ran their gift shop for quite some time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Samantha Avampato; and four siblings, Edward Joseph Sebold, Regina Ruffner, Anna Catherine Carney and Eleanor Jean King. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Dominic Constantine; two sons, Samuel Avampato (Karen), of New Stanton, and David Avampato (Kirstie Stoner), of Hamden, Conn.; granddaughter, Sarah Avampato; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public viewing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alma's funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, in the Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Keeping with CDC guidelines, those attending the funeral are required to wear face masks. The family would like to thank the staff at Excela Health Westmoreland ICU, especially Mindy, for their loving care and kindness during her stay.
