Aldo J. Giaccardo, 75, of Penn, died suddenly Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born October 30, 1949, in Jeannette, a son of the late Aldo and Grace L. Scozzaro Giaccardo. Aldo worked for over twenty years at Main Bowling Alley and was, himself, an avid bowler; belonging to two leagues and having scored a perfect 300 five times. He also enjoyed golfing, doing jigsaw puzzles and was an avid Steeler and Pirate fan. Even though he had many interests, his family was his greatest joy in life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paige McDowell. Aldo is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-five years, Linda D. Gower Giaccardo; three children, Paula McDowell of Penn, Daniel D'Amato (Brandy) of Latrobe and Michael D'Amato of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Joseph Bohon (Emily), Lisa Henry (Eric), Justin Bohon and Delaney D'Amato; a great grandson, Carter Henry and his beloved cat, Crystal and dog, Tucker. Relatives and friends of Aldo will be received Friday from 3 to 6:30 p.m., the time of services, in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Taz Juniors c/o Main Bowling, 513 S.
