Agnes (Chislock) Wotus , 91, of Crabtree, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021. She was born Feb. 5, 1929, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary Smartnick Chislock. Agnes was a retired secretary for the Westmoreland County Intermediate Unit and a longtime member of St. Bartholomew Church. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in addition to attending bingo and trips to the casino with her sister, Mary Ann. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Wotus; brother, Michael Chislock; sister, Eleanor Chislock; half-brother, Ronald Matusek, and a brother-in-law, Edward Sisko. She is survived by her three children, Karen Hamilton, of Jeannette, and Raymond and Martin Wotus, both of Crabtree; two grandchildren, Jamie Gainor (Thomas), of Gibsonia, and Kevin Hamilton (Megan), of Irwin; four great-grandchildren, Riley Gainor, Jack, Grace and Andrew Hamilton; sister, Mary Ann Sisko, of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Sarah Chislock, of Greensburg, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass for Agnes, to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree. Keeping with CDC guidelines, those attending the funeral are required to wear face masks.
